2010 Voodoo Black -10 review

In this post, we will be reviewing another Demarini Voodoo baseball bat, this time the 2010 Voodoo Black -10 bat, a bat created by Demarini last year for amateur or semi-professional baseball players. Let’s take a look at it and see what this bat actually provides to players.

One feature that this bat has that some of Demarini’s bats do not have is their doublewall aluminium feature. This basically means that two individual walls in the bat create a dynamic springboard, which allows you to get a larger sweet spot, hit with maximum power and even hit the ball to a greater distance. All this can be done by one brilliant design feature made in the bat.

Like some of Demarini’s other bats, this bat includes their pitch black plus technology. In basic terms, this means that the bat is made of very tight and strong composites to ensure the bat will last long and will perform well. The silver bond tracing agent used also helps to increase the strength, which in theory should allow you to get even more power.

With their recent bats, Demarini have started including their SC4 alloys in all of their bats. Mentioned in our previous reviews, this is basically a 12% stronger alloy used in their newest bats which will allow you to get a larger sweet spot, giving you the ability to hit the spot more often and play well – whether you’re an amateur and playing with friends or whether you’re a professional using it in a real game.

Finally, they have incorporated one of their most popular features into this bat – The Ion End-Cap. This multi-density end-cap tries to reduce the vibrations faced by the bat in order to let you keep a better grip and have a cleaner hit on the ball. It retains the energy, too.

In conclusion, the 2010 Voodoo Black -10 is yet another amazing bat in the Demarini Voodoo range. It has all of the features that a baseball player should need in a baseball bat and best of all, the price is very affordable to most so nearly everyone will be able to benefit from it.

2011 Voodoo Black -13 Review

We’ve already reviewed one of Demarini’s voodoo baseball bats and in this article, we’re going to take a look at another one, one of the latest bats currently created by Demarini – Entitled the 2011 Voodoo Black -13 bat. Should you buy this bat? Let’s take a look at some of the main features of it first.

First of all, a two piece end-carp is used on the bat, which tries to reduce the vibrations on the bat (Similar to the ion end-cap used on the 2010 voodoo black -3 bat) but does something a bit extra too, it attempts to push all of the power to the sweet spot on the bat. This should allow you to hit the bat much better and with a lot of power, easily lifting the ball and pushing it to a further distance.

Also, let’s discuss the material of the bat too. The bat uses very strong and tight composite metal which is combined with Demarini’s own silver trace bonding agent. This is used to maximise the power transfer from the bat directly to the barrel, allowing you to increase your performance by pushing the power to where all players try to hit it.

As with the 2010 voodoo black -3 bat, this bat also uses Demarini’s SC4 technology which makes the alloy used 12% stronger, increasing the sweet spot size. This gives you a better chance of hitting the sweet spot and getting a perfect hit on the ball when you’re playing baseball.

The final aspect of this bat that we’ll look at is actually very unique. Demarini includes a rotation index on the bat, which basically indicates to players that they should rotate the bat slightly after each hit with a small marking on it. If you’re wondering why you should rotate it, it’s to prolong the life of the bat mainly, but there are other reasons.

In conclusion, the 2011 voodoo black -3 is a good baseball bat to use if you’re considering buying a new one as it comes with some clever design features which aim to improve your performance and make you look like the great baseball player that you are.

2010 Voodoo Black -3 Review

Choosing a good quality baseball bat isn’t always easy if you’re wanting to maximise your game. This article will review a Demarini Voodoo baseball bat, the 2010 Voodoo Black -3 and let you know if you should purchase the bat or not.

Perhaps one of the best features of this bat is the composite handle used in it’s design. The use of it is to boost strength and improve power transfer, which should in theory then allow you to get a cleaner hit on the ball and perform better overall. This is just one of the many extra features which has been worked on during the 2010 Voodoo Black -3 bat’s design.

Another design feature of the bat is the Ion End-Cap. The purpose of this to stop the bat from vibrating which as a lot of baseball players know, can be problematic when you’re trying to get a decent hit on the ball. Luckily, it still retains the energy to keep the power in the bat when you’re about to hit the ball, which should increase the flight of the ball and allowing you to play better for your team.

Moreover, the 2010 Voodoo Black -3 bat comes with a 12% stronger alloy. What does this mean? Well actually it means you can get a bigger “sweet spot” which every baseball player strives to hit when he’s in a game. By getting a bigger sweet spot, you should be able to hit it more often and therefore it allows you to get a cleaner hit and hit the ball at a bigger distance, possibly causing problems to the opposition.

Finally, let’s take a look at a less baseball-specific part of the bat. It is very comfortable to hold due to the soft yet durable comfort grip on the handle, which will enable you to hold the bat easier and be prepared when the ball comes at you – and if you’re prepared, you’re going to be able to hit the ball better.

In conclusion, the 2010 Voodoo Black -3 bat is a very high quality baseball bat that is recommended for both beginners and advanced players. It’s a bat that is very reliable and will help you to perform better when you’re playing, simply due to these genius techniques used to make the bat.
